Subject: Healthcare: Dementia/elderly: Most people with dementia do not need to be in skilled facility, paid with government dollars. There may be periods of time that they need to be in a skilled environment, but overall, if properly managed, they can be placed in personal care homes, in the community that they or their families live. Home Health can service their skilled needs, and the government could support twice or three times the numner of patients for the same dollar.
