Entrepreneurism is not something that can be learned in the classroom. It has to be learned in the field - actually doing it.
Coordination between high school and college - and the local small business community would provide a "transition bridge" for young entrepreneurs to hone their skills. At the same time the program would provide needed energetic talent to help small business adapt to the future.
StartUpAmerica could provide assistance as a clearinghouse as well as smoothing the way to acceptance in the national curriculum debate.
