  Federal Electronic Money alternative to Credit Cards

  As transactions move online for many startups the cost of processing transactions, staying PCI compliant and dealing with chargebacks, etc. is a huge barrier to growth. 3% to 5% of your gross revenue may go directly into the hands of credit card companies. A federal electronic payment system would offer a non-profit alternative to collecting online payments. The US Dollar needs to keep up with our changing world.
